Igår hade jag skoj med livet som insats, vilket återspeglas idag. Och inatt!
Låt mig berätta…
Jag köpte en bra deal på nätet, du vet från ett sån’t ställe som har svinbra priser på kul grejer, tjänster och upplevelser som man egentligen inte behöver men köper ändå för att det är så billigt. Egentligen borde jag vara tacksam att de finns, de där företagen, för annars hade jag aldrig vetat att jag behövt dubbla uppsättningar dansande vattenhögtalare med exceptionellt dåligt ljud, till exempel. Jag hade aldrig heller förstått hur mycket jag behöver magiskt näringsserum till ögonfransar heller för den delen (fast min blev nog fellevererad utan magi, för här växte minsann ingenting utom möjligen minuset på mitt bankkonto). Tanken var god. Jag tänkte att jag och väninnan skulle spela med sönerna! Det är värt en eloge bara det eftersom jag annars skulle vilja ringa utkörning om jag vill ha ett glas bubbelvatten från kylen. Jag är inte så sportig om man så säger. Typ antisportig. Rätt otränad och tämligen lat. Fast det tänkte jag glömma bort ett slag igår för den goda sakens skull.
Efter lite övertalande följde även dottern med in, lite motvilligt, för vem skulle hon vara med? Ja, OSS, tyckte jag. Fick en sned blick: but really? Redan där kunde jag blivit varnad, men icke. Det finns tydligen inga mått för min avsaknad av självinsikt när bollen väl är i rullning…
Problemet började  egentligen redan i kassan på Laserdome, när jag ska betala för en extra person eftersom dealen bara var för fyra.
Fast för den extra personen räcker det med 2 spel á 20 minuter, säger jag.

Han är nog i min ålder. Potentiellt äldre. Fejkbränna.
Hm! Jag fnyser invärtes. Så jävla dålig kondis har jag väl inte! Och vad då, syns det på mig att det är just jag som inte pallar tre omgångar utan bara två? Varför tror han inte det är väninnan Malin som är lat?! Hon har ju dessutom höftproblem!

Han väcker något märkligt inom mig som gör att jag blir bestämd, målmedveten, irriterad och pepp på samma gång.

Det är fler som ska spela, så vi blir indelade i lag, får västar på, och spelet börjar. Alla rusar in på plan i mörker och rök och blinkande lampor. Strobbar och hetsig musik. Fett!
Spänningen är total, kanske mest eftersom jag tappar bort alla andra fyra i mitt lag på en gång.

Omgång tre skulle jag ju inte spela, men nu har Djävulen liksom vaknat så jag frågar upprymt gubben med fejkbrännan om jag kan spela sista spelet?

Nu har en massa ungdomar anslutit och vi är nog 20 personer som springer runt på det virtuella stridsfältet.

Redan efteråt känner jag att det här var kanske lite dumt. En stegrande värk från höger höft gör sig påmind. Det bultar i huvudet och det känns som jag sprungit ett maratonlopp. Jag hamnar på plats 14 av 24 vilket helt klart bekräftar att jag i varje fall är lite cool för att vara 37. Det viktigaste är att klå väninnan Malin vilket jag inte vågar kolla om jag gör utan bara intalar mig själv att så måste det vara, för hon har ju höftproblem.
