Kiviks Hotell – en kustpärla på Österlen

Böljande fält, pittoreska skånelängor och små gårdar. Djupblått hav och magiskt ljus…
Konstnärer, musiker och författare har hittat hit – och nu även vi!
Nicole behövde övningsköra, så jag passade på att boka in en natt för oss på fina Kiviks Hotell Konferens & SPA, där jag för övrigt varit med Robin på lov-SPA för några år sedan.

Jag går ju på smärtrehab, men vi har några tillämpningsdagar nu, vilket betyder att vi ska praktisera vad vi lärt oss. Medveten närvaro, fysisk aktivitet och avkoppling är stora poster i förändringsprocessen, vilket jag bestämde mig för att praktisera på annan plats än hemma. Det visar sig fungera utmärkt, utan disk som kallar, mat som ska lagas och gamla, dåliga rutiner som lockar… 🙂
Vi kom lite tidigt men fick checka in ändå, och fick nyckeln till nr 29; ett luftigt rum med balkong och ljuvlig havsutsikt! En promenad genom Kivik ledde oss till välrenommerade Buhres, där vi åt lunch. Sill och mos är ett säkert kort, och deras skirade smör är verkligen perfekt brynt. <3 Räkmackan som Nicole hittade var också finfin. Inget slår väl färska, handskalade räkor!

Våra fötter ledde oss vidare till Vitemölla och Vitemölla Badhotell, där jag brukar vara på konferens med jobbet varje höst. Vi tog av skorna och vandrade barfota i den vita sanden. Det kändes verkligen som sensommar, snarare än vår. Ljumma vindar men ”höstlöv” här och där. Plus ett och annat vårtecken, som vitsippor! Efter nästan en halvmils långsam promenad kom vi tillbaka till hotellet där vi plåstrade om skavsåren från våra nya skor (ja, jag vet: dumt) samtidigt som vi avnjöt ett glas bubbel på balkongen.

Eftersom vi avböjde att boka bord på hotellet inför kvällen, och dessutom kom sent till restaurangen, hade köket stängt. Men vad gjorde väl det – bartendern som jobbade fixade så vi fick en rejäl ostbricka och varsitt glas vin. Dessutom fick vi ta plats i loungen på andra våningen istället för i restaurangen, som antagligen skulle städas. Och det är jag glad för… Vilket ljus och vilken vy!Kika på fotona – kan det bli finare?

Förutom ett fräscht hotell, ett fint rum och exceptionell service så har jag en sak att säga om Kiviks Hotell:
sängarna är m a g n i f i k a.
Jag brukar inte sova ”som hemma” när jag sover borta, och nu är jag dessutom utan mina smärtstillande vilket inte bådade gott. Jag hade fel. Och Nicole också! Vi har båda trynat gott. Jag vaknade lite innan, smög mig ut till loungen på våning 2 där kaffevagnen stod klar sedan 06.30. Sedan avnjöt jag min kopp morgonkaffe i solen, på balkongen. I 17 grader, kan ni tänka er!

Frukostbuffén var också väldigt fräsch. Inte något jätteutbud, utan snarare en selektion av väl utvalda, närproducerade – och även egenproducerade! – saker.
Som hembakt bröd. Och hemgjord tomat/chili-marmelad! Mums!
Extra trevligt var det att vi kunde sitta ute och äta frukost.

Måste också passa på att ge en stor tumme upp för de närproducerade, ekologiska badprodukterna på rummet. Det känns verkligen fräscht och hemtrevligt med kroppsolja och schampoo/tvål med svag doft av äpple, utan en massa tillsatser och flashiga förpackningar. Dessutom säljs produkterna i receptionen. Nu är det dags för hemfärd…
