Skratt, skämt, omsorg, empati och stor professionalitet rakt igenom! ❤️ Det är vad jag mötts av under en heldag på Handkirurgen i Malmö. Jag konstaterar – återigen – hur väl fungerande svensk sjukvård är, åtminstone för mig som vårdtagare!
Då ska tilläggas att personalen fick uppleva en fastande, törstande, evighetsväntande, hungrande, kaffesugen Mig. 😁 Dessutom hade jag lite ont och var trött och det gjorde inte precis saken bättre. Det var upplagt för ilska kan man väl säga! 👿 Men den där annalkande ilskan skingrades lika fort som en fjuttig fis i vinden, tack vare en enda sak: bemötandet jag fått.
Nu ligger jag här, karvad i, ihopsydd, bandagerad, svullen, ömmande – och nöjd! Jag ägnar en stund åt att reflektera över allt från de små vänliga avstämningarna från de omsorgsfulla och ytterst problemlösande avdelningssköterskorna på dagkirurgin (tack för Alvedonen, det var smart! 😉) till det lugna, pedagogiska och sympatiska operationsteamet till den glada och sjukhusunderklädsmodeshowande (!) personalen på uppvaket! Och den vansinnigt delikata måltid som väntade på mig efter OP… Åååå. 😍 Kaffe, vatten och två vackra smörgåsar som Någon ägnat tid åt att göra fina och extra goda med paprika, gurka och sallad. Det är kärlek det, serverat på sjukhusfat! ❤️
Jag har speciellt imponerats av en läkare; en av de mest ödmjuka och mänskliga kirurgerna jag stött på… Jag hörde honom prata med en annan patient som satt jämte mig i dagvårdssalen, i väntan på att hämtas för narkos. Det var inget lätt budskap läkaren skulle framföra.
Hur förmedlar man bäst till en patient att upplägget för dennes åttonde (och sista) operation är att de helt enkelt måste ge upp och amputera hela hans finger..? –Idag, käre du, ska jag hjälpa dig att korta ner ditt finger så du slipper ha besvär mer! sa kirurgen, varpå patienten svarar –Det låter fint det! Hjälpa dig att korta ner ditt finger… Det är den snyggaste positiva omskrivningen jag någon gång hört, måste jag säga!
Man kan säga vad man vill om vården. Under min snart två år långa konvalescens efter cykelolyckan har jag i stort sett bara positivt att säga! Tilläggas bör, att det är utifrån mitt perspektiv som vårdtagare. Jag inser att arbetssituationen i vården på många avdelningar är orättvis, ohållbar och direkt omänsklig. Jag utgår dock från att vissa avdelningar jag besökt är mer eller mindre förskonade, för hur skulle annars t ex den härliga personalgrupp jag haft förmånen att möta idag, orka, kunna och vilja ge oss vårdtagare det där lilla extra..? ❤️ Och om de lyckats med detta trots en pressad arbetssituation: en ännu större eloge till dem! Verkligen.
