Den eviga jakten på Lycka

Lycka är ett högst subjektivt förhållande av glädje och förnöjsamhet.
Att uppleva att man är nöjd och glad är alltså den enkla definitionen av lycka.
Så vad gör dig glad?
Och nöjd?
Jag skulle vilja våga påstå, att lycka inte enbart är subjektiv utan även skapas av andra i relation till oss själva. Hur tänker jag då? Jo, att alla dessa möten i vardagen definierar dig som människa. Vem är du i förhållande till personen du träffar? Vad tillför du i just den människans liv, just nu? Och vad tillför personen dig? För var så säker, alla människor du möter förändrar dig om än på ett litet vis.
Och vissa betydligt mer än andra.
Oavsett vad du tycker om det.
Det är upp till dig vad du gör av det, bara.
Jag har mött framgångsrika personer som varit allt annat än lyckliga. Doktorer, egenföretagare, försäljare som alla haft en enda gemensam nämnare: inte lyckliga. Jag har mött långtidsarbetslösa, riktigt fattiga individer och andra socialt utsatta personer som inte heller varit det. Men även de som varit det! Lyckliga. Karriär, pengar och framgång är inte alltid ett vinnande koncept. Eller antal prylar som man äger när man dör för den delen! Det är bara ett enkelt mått på hur mycket pengar man lagt på successivt föråldrad elektronik och annat skrafs under en Livstid!
Stress, tidsbrist eller känsla av att inte duga är – oavsett var de kommer ifrån – negativa påverkansfaktorer som kan drabba oss alla. De gör att vi känner oss misslyckade, ofullständiga, krackelerade och nötta. Ofina och imparfekta som individer. Blotta känslan konsumerar våra små bräckliga själar.
Ofta glömmer man bort innebörden i det fina begreppet ”good enough”.
Bra nog.
Smakar gott, det uttrycket! Mums!
Men att nöja sig när det är lagom, det är min själ en konst i sig! Drivet, viljan och den tröttsamma, ständiga strävan efter mer, mer, mer är som en liten ettrig demon som aldrig blir mätt eller trött. Som med knivskarpa klor petar och pillar och stör när man bara vill sova en stund.
Men om man är hungrig i sin personlighet då?
Då räcker det väl inte med en tugga!
Nej, man vill ha allt. Hela tiden.
På bekostnad av Sig själv.
Andra.
Och Livet.
Det är alltid lätt att vara efterklok också.
Att tänka att det där blev ju inget vidare.
Gör om, gör rätt.
Då önskar jag att jag hade en pausknapp!
Rewind. Try again.
Fast sån´a chanser får man ju aldrig, vilket både är tur och tragiskt.
Tänk vad mycket man skulle missat att uppleva! Alla intryck som aldrig infunnit sig. Allt man i slutändan aldrig sa eller gjorde eller kände eller tänkte.
Men tänk samtidigt, vad man skulle kunna ha besparat sig allmänt livslidande och otrevlighetskänslor som exempelvis ledsamhet, ånger och skam.
Som alltid, är det garanterat den Gyllene Medelvägen som är betydelsefull!
Avgörande, rentav!
Det viktigaste för lyckan är att skaffa sig en balans mellan allt.
Kropp och själ. Känsla och handling. Inre och yttre faktorer. Kärlek och vänskap. Jobb och fritid. Stress och avkoppling. Däremellan ska man förverkliga sig själv, fungera i relationer och leva lite grann också.
Fast det riktigt svåra är ju inte att förstå det hela.
Det är att applicera teorin i praktiken.
Är man någonsin helt lycklig?
Helt glad och nöjd?
Det undrar jag.
Det kanske inte är meningen att man ska vara det. I vart fall inte jämt. Då hade ju livet varit nästan tragiskt statiskt och tråkigt konstant. Människan är nog designad att alltid sträva efter mer. Bara lite grann, hela tiden.
Och då måste man bestämma sig för det och villkorslöst mota bort så väl ettriga demoner som gnagande tankar och evighetssuget efter mer-större-bättre. Ett tufft beslut – ett livsförhållningssätt rentav!
Har du bestämt dig?
Det är den här eviga strävan efter ouppnåelig perfektionism som är ohälsosam, som ställer till det för oss, som dödar oss sakta, det är jag säker på! Lagom är bäst.
Och jag behöver inte vara perfekt, har jag äntligen kommit på.
Jag vill mest bara vara så där lite lagom lycklig faktiskt. <3
