Den grundläggande och första delen i hela mitt resetänk (trestegsprocessen) är just flyget. Det är ofta det som är dyrast, speciellt om ni är fler än en som ska resa.
Kommer du över ett kap så går det oftast att hitta bra boende!
För att kunna boka flyg så är det ju fint att veta vilket väderstreck du vill åt.
Personligen föredrar jag som bekant alltid söderut.
Eller åtminstone dit där är sol.
Det finns lite olika vägar att hitta just din flygstol.
Det kan se ut som en lång och komplicerad process, men det är det inte!
Beroende på om du är låst till bestämda datum, dagar eller destinationer, eller om du är mer flexibel, finns det olika vägar att gå:
CHARTER
Att flyga charter är nog det som de allra flesta är bekanta med. Det är fasta avresedagar som gäller och du är borta en vecka, eller två. Kanske tre om det är valbart.
Grejen är att du inte tvunget behöver boka chartersemester som paket med hotell utan det går bra att bara boka flygresa. Ibland kan det spela mindre roll prismässigt, men ibland gör det en enorm skillnad. Som referens flög vi t o r till Gran Canaria för 599:-/person i november 2017.
Fördel?
+ Kan kännas tryggt för dig som inte rest eller bokat själv så mycket, eller för dig som helt enkelt gillar att åka med ett charterbolag
+ Ofta till välkända turistresmål
Nackdel?
– Låsta avresedagar och bestämda perioder, oftast en eller två veckor
– Ofta går det bara att boka charterflygstol till bra pris om det är sista minuten
Hur söker du?
a) Smidigast är att gå via Solfaktor
Denna söksida samlar i princip alla charterresor och du kan filtrera på ”endast flyg” samt på pris! Extra bonus är att du också kan välja att åka ”söderut”, dvs du behöver inte välja destination för att söka.
b) Du kan också gå in på resp. resebolags hemsida och leta själv.
Flygstolarna står då oftast under ”Sista minuten” eller ”Endast flygstol”.
Ex. Ving, TUI (fd Fritidsresor), Apollo, Solresor, Nazar, osv.
Överkurs: boka flygstol med charterbolagens flyg
Inte riktigt samma som att boka via de vanliga charterbolagen, utan du går direkt till deras flygbokning. Exempelvis flyger Primera Air för Solresor och dess danska motsvarighet Bravo Tours.
Fördel? Samma flyg
bolag dit och hem (kan kännas tryggt)
Nackdel? Samma princip med fasta avresedagar – men ibland går det att boka hemresa mellan t ex 1 och 2 veckor. Och ibland är det billigare än att boka via t ex Solresor.
Hur söker du?
Gå in på Primera Airs hemsida, eller någon annan av charterbolagens flyg.
OBS. Vissa av de mest kända charterbolagen har egna flyg, som t ex TUI (fd Fritidsresor), och då går det inte att boka flygstol via någon annan hemsida än deras egna.
REGULJÄRFLYG
Reguljärflyg är helt enkelt en mer flexibel och anpassningsbar version av flygandet.
Lite grann som att åka taxi kontra att åka buss, kanske.
Förr om åren var det betydligt dyrare att boka reguljärflyg men marknaden har invaderats av lågprisflyg (se nedan) som även har pressat priserna för de vanliga reguljärflygen.

+ Betydligt större flexibilitet med avresetider och -dagar
+ Du kan få bonus via rewardprogram!
+ Det finns betydligt fler destinationer, inte sällan långdistanslinjer, att välja bland
+ Kan ha bra barn/ungdomsrabatter
+ Punktlighet, service och kvalitet brukar vara på topp
+ Reklamationer brukar också tas bra om hand av de stora flygbolagen
+ Går att lyxa till rejält via business-klass

Hur söker du?
Gå in på olika reguljärflygbolags hemsidor för att söka eller för att få inspiration. Ett hett tips är att prenumerera på nyhetsbrev. Inte sällan finns det kampanjer som kan spara en bra slant, inte minst om du ska flyga långdistans och har chans att planera i god tid.
Ex. Thai Air, SAS, Qatar Airways, British Airways
LÅGPRISFLYG
Innan marknaden förändrades, så var SAS, Thai Air, United 
Airlines, Lufthansa m fl det enda alternativet till charter. Sedan tog sig lågprisflygen in på marknaden… Och med Wizz, Ryanair, Norwegian i spetsen är priserna nu pressade till max. Som referens flög vi t o r till Budapest för 450:-/person nu i december 2017.
Fördel?
+ Förutom allt som nämnts ovan: priset!
Nackdel?
– Den moraliska aspekten. Att du kan komma över vansinnigt billiga biljetter hos lågprisbolagen, är på bekostnad av personalens taskiga anställningsvillkor säger min insatte släkting Jens som jobbar i luften.
– Hårdare restriktioner på handbagagets vikt/storlek, hur du ska checka in, osv. Gör du fel så kostar det extra.
– Inte sällan förseningar
– Anmälningar till ARN har gjort att bl a Ryanair och nu senast Norwegian hamnat i blåsväder

Gå in på resp. flygbolags hemsidor och sök.
Återigen: anmäl dig till nyhetsbrev! Här finns det pengar att tjäna.
SPARA TID!
Med en bra sökmotor kan du spara bra med tid om du inte tvunget vill åka charter, men inte heller orkar jobba dig igenom alla reguljärflygbolags hemsidor.
Du behöver dock veta vart och när du vill åka.
