Julklapp för eftersläntare

Denna glädje!

Så här kvällen innan julafton infinner sig sannolikt paniken för alla oss som inte lyckats få ihop inköpen och inslagningen. I vår familj ger inte jag och maken varann julklappar helt enkelt eftersom vi vill minska konsumtionen. I stället övergöder vi klapparna till ”barnen” (läs: ungdomen & den vuxna) både vad gäller antal och prislapp. Ju äldre ”barnen” blivit, desto färre antal men desto dyrare har det blivit. Av förklarliga skäl kan jag inte avslöja vad som döljer sig i deras paket, men det är saker de önskat sig, och användbara saker dessutom.

Just känslan att ge är egentligen det centrala, eller hur? Men måste det vara något fysiskt, egentligen? Förutom vissa faktiska saker så brukar jag tycka att det är schysst att donera pengar till någon välgörenhetsorganisation eller köpa något som är socialt hållbart. Det kan handla om att köpa en bit mark i Amazonas eller stödja ett projekt som man värnar lite extra om. För mig blir det ofta något som är förknippat med havet. 4Ocean, till exempel. Eller Project Biodiversity som räddar havssköldpaddor på ön Sal, Kap Verde.

För dig som inte ännu köpt julklappar eller som bara får feeling, så vill jag tipsa om följande (förutom de två ovanstående):

Förutom att det känns gott i hjärtat så lär det ge trippel utdelning. Någon annan kommer också att känna av lite extra värme på grund av just din gåva, både den som du skänkt en julklapp till – och den som i slutändan faktiskt får ta faktisk del av din generositet. <3
