BOENDE no 1: Buddha-Bar Klotild Palace
Eftersom vi firade vår 10:e bröllopsdag valde jag ett dyrare men lyxigare boende de första två nätterna: Buddha-Bar Klotild Palace.
Ett lyxigt 5* hotell med helhetskänsla av mystiska Orienten som möter modern bekvämlighet.
Allt går i mörkt trä, rött, guld och tunga sammetstyger.
Dämpad belysning och mysk/cedardoft skapar en härlig känsla!
SPA-avdelningen är liten men fräsch – och absolut inte överfull!
Kopplingen till Thailand var viktig för mig, eftersom vi gifte oss där 2007.
Och vad var mer passande än Buddha-Bar – ja, förutom Thailand då..

Knappade in en personlig kod från Wizz som jag fick när jag bokade flygbiljetterna. +35 Wizz Air-krediter (=euro!) att använda vid nästa resa med Wizz!

BOENDE #2: Boscolo Budapest
Efter två nätter flyttade vi oss till anrika och urtjusiga lyxhotellet Boscolo Budapest!
Alltså, vilket atmosfär!
Som en resa tillbaka i tiden…
Tänk 1800-tal, vackra takmålningar med guldkant, kristallkronor, vita dukar, perfekta rader av kristallglas och silverbestick. Tänk vita marmorgolv och levande pianomusik.
Fantastiska New York Café kallas ”det vackraste caféet i världen”, och det är nästan en underdrift.
Vi bodde på delen som heter Boscolo Residence som har hotellägenheter i varierande storlek. Du kan också bo i huvudbyggnaden på Boscolo Budapest i lyxiga dubbelrum till högre pris. De två delarna är sammanbyggda, så det känns som samma hotell.
Den lite ovanliga SPA-avdelningen var tom när jag skvalpade runt i vattnet, strax innan stängning. Var ju tvungen att utvärdera!
Bokat: en studiolägenhet via Booking – ett specialpaket med frukost på New York Café.
Fick: en uppgradering till en tvåvåningslägenhet med två sovrum, tre toaletter, två balkonger, fullutrustat kök och vardagsrum med bäddsoffa! Helt galet!
Pris: 2.150:- (219,60 euro) för 2 nätter inkl. fantastisk frukost på NY Café.

ANNAT BOENDE?
Budgetvariant? Naturligtvis finns det betydligt billigare boende i prisvärda Budapest! Jag jämförde priser på Booking & Amoma och hittade bl a en helt okej mindre lägenhet vilken skulle kostat otroliga 1000:- för 2 personer i 4 nätter!
Personligen föredrar jag att bo på Budda-sidan där Buddha-Bar, Boscolo och många av de stora hotellen och sevärdheterna finns. Det känns närmre till allt.
